General Commercial and Business Attorney

Hoeppner Wagner & Evans, LLP is one of Northwest Indiana’s leading law firms with offices in Valparaiso and Merrillville. We are looking for an experienced general commercial and business attorney to join our firm.  This position is expected to focus on providing a range of business legal advice. Primary Responsibilities: 

  Drafting and reviewing contracts for transactions related to stock or asset purchase agreements as well as commercial real estate transactions 

  Advising clients on business entity selection and creation issues 

  Recognizing issues related to intellectual property, tax and employment law matters 

  Applicant must possess excellent critical thinking, analytical, reasoning and negotiation skills. 

  Must be organized and able to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications: 

  Valid Indiana Bar Registration 

  3+ years Experience with commercial and business law
