Trial and Appellate Practice
John Hughes has been a trial lawyer in state and federal courts for more than 35 years, focusing primarily on civil litigation. His extensive trial experience also involves business litigation, personal injury and wrongful death actions including medical malpractice and railroad liability, the defense of employment and discrimination matters, and municipal law. Mr. Hughes is a Certified Civil Mediator and has been an adjunct professor at the Valparaiso University School of Law.
